Programs
LOCAL & GLOBAL PERFORMANCE
KST commissions and presents evening-length dance, theater, music, film, and multidisciplinary performance works by local and global artists for our Pittsburgh stages.
Rooted in social justice and aesthetic experimentation, these projects investigate the confluence of identity and form while interrogating the burning issues of our time.
These projects are realized in collaboration with participating artists over many years. They are often supported and developed through grant opportunities including New England Foundation for the Arts’ National Dance Project, National Performance Network’s Creation and Development Fund and more.
