MUTUAL AID: DREAMS OF HOPE
“We must recognize and nurture the creative parts of each other without always understanding what will be created.” – Audre Lorde
Through the power of the arts, Dreams of Hope provides the region’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, and allied (LGBTQA+) youth a welcoming environment to grow in confidence, express themselves, and develop as leaders.
Throughout KST’s Winter/Spring 2024 KST Presents season we offer theatriQ, a performing arts youth ensemble for Queer and Trans creatives (open to ages 13-26). Join our Creative Sessions January through May on Wednesday evenings at KST Alloy Studio, to collectively create a new devised theatrical production under the mentorship and guidance of local multidisciplinary artists.
theatriQ culminates in May with the public presentation of our 20th full-length Mainstage Production! Created through the Creative Sessions, this unique production is bound to impress! We welcome the community to join us as we celebrate both the ensemble’s authentic collective storytelling and Dreams of Hope’s 20th year anniversary. We invite you to join us!
