Creativity is magic. Arts & Crafts are relaxing and empowering fun for the whole family and friends. This class explores various forms of visual art making to facilitate a spectrum of colorful expression and abundant recreation. There’s no limit to discovery when exploring your artsy side. Let’s imagine and create together!
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Jen Gallagher is a registered landscape architect and LEED accredited professional with 22 years of experience. Originally trained in architecture and urban design, her transition into landscape architecture grew out of an interest in the relationship of structure and motion in the natural and built environment. She has taught architecture at Carnegie Mellon University as well as Architecture Summer Camp at the University of Notre Dame. Gallagher also teaches regular folkloric dance classes and workshops at Art in Motion Pittsburgh, and is the founder of the annual Pittsburgh dance festival.
Isabella Papucci is seven years old and attends 2nd grade at Pittsburgh Montessori School. Isabella’s many interests include dance, reading, silly jokes, food, and making up fun new games with friends.

Participants will sample the program through interactive demonstrations that introduce the theme and learning goals of each class offering. Open House attendance is not required for class registration.

Celebrate the 4 week Alloy School journey with our Showcase and Let’s Move! Family Dance Party on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at KST’s Alloy Studios on 5530 Penn Ave. It’s a one-hour public celebration of learning followed by a dance party for all!
