Pay What Moves You: Classes start at $10
Experience the moods and movements of Indian dance expression, where rhythms, music, and gesture intertwine. Let your body, soul, and mind dance in harmony, drawing inspiration from Mother Nature and ancient tales. This class is a partnership with Nandanik Dance Troupe, a Pittsburgh- based non-profit that seeks to promote, propagate, and preserve Indian Classical dance styles.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Nandini Mandal is a renowned dancer, teacher of Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form. She started learning Bharatanatyam under the guidance of her teacher, Guru Snigdha Pal, Kalamandalam Venkitt, Preetha Venkitt,India and completed her Sangeet Prabhakar degree in Bharatanatyam. She is Adjunct Faculty at Point Park University, teaching Introduction to Bharatanatyam — history, culture and technique.

Pay What Moves You: $5 – $20
Celebrate the six-week Alloy School journey with our Showcase and Let’s Move! Family Dance Party. The event includes a one-hour public celebration of learning during which each class will present a performance. The Showcase is followed by a family-friendly dance party for all. Community partners will be present hosting kids crafts throughout the dance party.
