Tuesday Musical Club, in partnership with the Afro American Music Institute, the Edgewood Symphony, Aria 412, and community choirs, presents a free celebratory concert for America’s 250th anniversary entitled America 250: E Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One).
The concert will feature the various streams of culture that have contributed to the rich tradition of American music, including jazz, spirituals, Latino influences, Klezmer, folk song, and Broadway. The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Dr. James T. Johnson, co-founder of the AAMI, whose immeasurable contributions to music in the Pittsburgh community have left a lasting legacy.
Before the mainstage concert, the AAMI Jazz Youth Ensemble will perform in the lobby beginning at 1:30 PM.
**FREE EVENT — REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ENTRY**
Registration is required for entry and reserves your seat. Advance registration is encouraged, as capacity is limited to 340 guests.
If space remains on the day of the event, registration may also be available at the door.
Please note: Please reserve one spot for each person in your party, including children.
Individual attendees do not need to register separately or use separate names.
Once the event reaches capacity, additional entry will not be available.
