theatriQ creates theater for radical social change.
As queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian, Arab, immigrant, disabled, poor, and working-class people, we must use our art to remember our history and create new futures. Through theatriQ, Dreams of Hope recognizes theater as an expression of defiance, a practice of possibility, and a way to craft stories.
Witness theatriQ’s newest mainstage play – a direct response to the times we’re living in from our community’s queer and trans young people. Over the past seven months, the ensemble of 13-to 26-year-olds collaborated to write, produce, and present a remarkable show honoring their individual and collective truths.
