theatriQ creates theater for radical social change.

As queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian, Arab, immigrant, disabled, poor, and working-class people, we must use our art to remember our history and create new futures. Through theatriQ, Dreams of Hope recognizes theater as an expression of defiance, a practice of possibility, and a way to craft stories.

Witness theatriQ’s newest mainstage playa direct response to the times we’re living in from our community’s queer and trans young people. Over the past seven months, the ensemble of 13-to 26-year-olds collaborated to write, produce, and present a remarkable show honoring their individual and collective truths.
