NAT 28 is an instrumental music ensemble that performs new works written for classical instruments (strings, woodwinds, piano, percussion).
The Pittsburgh Composers’ Project is a concert showcasing music written exclusively by local composers. Three winning pieces selected from our Call for Scores will be performed:
“Scatter” – Corey Denham
“REng” – Ali Sadeqi
“piosol” – Victor Valle
David Bernabo’s captivating original videos will introduce these works, providing the audience with behind-the-scenes insight on the compositions.
NAT 28 will close the concert with the debut of “Wanderweg,” a commission by Dr. Katherine Pukinskis, renowned local composer and professor of composition at CMU.
Join us in this celebration of the vibrant new music community here in the city of Pittsburgh!
