Mixed Threads is an event that started in 2009 as a way to expose and promote all local clothing and t-shirt designers in the Pittsburgh area. This event provided an opportunity to develop relationships with other creative and young entrepreneurs around the city and to create an environment of positive exchange of ideas and fellowship through the medium of street fashion and artistic aesthetics. This annual event is also an open invitation for the general public to take notice and support the many diverse and unique designers through business and commerce. In addition, live music and food vendors from all local artists and businesses add to the unique and lively ambiance. This year and moving forward, Mixed Threads will also include Vintage Clothing businesses and to hold quarterly events to showcase seasonal designs and fashions.
