This hands-on creative writing workshop offers an illuminating encounter with two extraordinary authors: Tyrone Williams and Julie Ezelle Patton. Tyrone Williams is a literary scholar and author of six collections of poetry who currently teaches literature and theory at Xavier University in Cincinnati. His works include c.c., On Spec, The Hero Project of the Century, Adventures of Pi, Howell, and As iZ. Julie Ezelle Patton is a poet, composer, performer, and permaculturist who has taught at New York University and Naropa University. Her works include Using Blue To Get Black, Notes for Some (Nominally) Awake, and A Garden Per Verse (or What Else Do You Expect from Dirt?).

The workshop will last approximately 90 minutes.
