Interested in applying for Freshworks? Join KST Programming Manager Sarah Gilmer for an online info session about the program and the 2026/2027 application process. Sarah will review the application questions and share what panelists look for in responses. Freshworks – KST’s creative residency for emerging artists in the greater Pittsburgh area – supports interdisciplinary exploration in dance, theater, music, and multimedia. The session will be broadcast on KST’s Facebook and will be available for later viewing.

- ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Moire del Carmen is a transfeminine multidisciplinary artist from Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico; who’s work encompasses tailoring, acting, visual art and performative theater. They hold an MFA from CMU in Costume Production (2024); a double BFA from the UPR in TV Production and Design for Theater (Costuming), a minor in acting (2018); and were a Freshworks resident for the Kelly Strayhorn Theater (2025).

Anya Collins (They/Them) is an emerging choreographer from Pittsburgh, PA, and Miami, FL. Anya premiered Fugue as a part of the Freshworks residency at Kelly Strayhorn Theater in May 2025. They attended New World School of the Arts High School and New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Since graduating, they have worked with choreographers such as Staycee Pearl and Tomé Cousin, and have showcased their own work in various locations across Pittsburgh and New York City.
