EVENT DETAILS
11am – 4pm / Thursday, December 13, 2018
KST’s Alloy Studios, 5530 Penn Ave

Presented by Performing Arts Readiness as part of the National Performance Network Annual Conference
Emergency preparedness is crucial, especially now as we experience and witness more tragic occurrences and disasters – weather related and man-made, personal and community-wide.

Performing Arts Readiness Presents: Emergency Preparedness 101 is a half-day workshop designed for organizations of all sizes with varying years of operation, and at all stages of preparedness planning. We will cover an intro to disaster and business continuity planning, risk assessment exercises, information on the Performing Arts Readiness (PAR) project, as well as other available resources. Facilitators are PAR project director, Tom Clareson, and project coordinator, Janet Newcomb. Both are experts in emergency preparedness for the performing arts and cultural heritage communities.

Performing Arts Readiness Presents: Emergency Preparedness 101 is organized by the National Performance Network, hosting its Annual Conference on arts and activism in Pittsburgh, December 13-17. Learn more about NPN and its conference here.
