Creative Black Futures is the Black Transformative Arts Network’s annual offering
of Black/Africana youth art and creative expression. Talented and passionate
Young people from across Allegheny County unite to bring an afternoon bursting
with color, rhythm, and storytelling as they share original artwork, poetry, music,
and dance rooted in their cultural heritage and lived experiences.
This showcase and exhibition is about what happens when we invite our youth to dream. Bring
the whole family for this celebration and explore the art, enjoy live performances,
food, music, and more. You’ll connect with local artists, get inspired, and maybe
take some art home! If you’re in the mood for some powerful joy, creativity, and
