Calliope House Presents: Bruce Molsky and Tony Trischka
Saturday, October 1, 2022
Kelly Strayhorn Theater | 5941Penn Ave.
Tickets: $41 ($21 student)
Grammy-nominated, described as “an absolute master” (No Depression), Molsky is best known for his work on the fiddle, but his banjo, guitar and distinctive, powerful vocals also resonate with listeners. The banjo virtuoso, songwriter, and educator Tony Trischka referred to by NPR as “the great banjo liberationist,” raised the banjo’s profile in many ways.
