A Halloween event that fits the whole family.” —Next Pittsburgh

With spooky activities and hands-on crafts in our lobby, and a series of youth-led performances in our theater, Halloween Mayhem has become an East Liberty family tradition. Dress up in your favorite costume, or come as you are, for a jam-packed afternoon of tricks, treats and groovy beats. Zombies, a costume parade, puppets, games and more, make for a day of spooky fun for the whole family.

Are you ready to be entertained? Hosted by the enchantress of ceremonies, Lauren Bethea, you’re invited to enjoy youth-led performances on the KST main stage at 1pm featuring a diverse lineup of artistic practices ranging from movement and dance to the monstrous echos of the steel pan.

Performers include:

  • Trevor C. Dance Collective
  • Evolving Arts Dance Studio
  • Dreams of Hope
  • Sister Candace
  • Barrels to Beethoven.

Get creative with Halloween inspired activities hosted by local community organizations in the lobby throughout the event. Community activity partners include:

  • Mask-making with Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse
  • Book giveaway hosted by Reading is FUNdamental
  • Family of 4 ticket giveaway by Children’s Museum

  • Plus More! Our community partners from the Carnegie Library East End,  Shady Lane School, New Voices Pittsburgh, Repair the World: Pittsburgh, Assemble and ALCOSAN Scholastic Outreach will be on-site hosting themed games and activities for family members of all ages.

In addition, families can sample chocolates from the Milkshake Factory, fresh apples courtesy of Soergel Orchards, smiley cookies from Eat’n Park, and other fun Halloween snacks and refreshments at the KST concessions for purchase.
