There are a variety of ways to get involved at Kelly Strayhorn Theater and support our company operations, programs, outreach, and events. We offer internship opportunities to become part of our vibrant and vital multi-arts programming. We encourage, enable, and empower an entire spectrum of small- and medium-sized arts groups, which in turn enrich both the artistic climate of Pittsburgh and the economic development of East Liberty.
Internships are offered during spring, fall and summer terms. Scheduling is flexible and training is provided. All positions are part-time and unpaid.

“The weekly meetings, compact staff structure, and cooperation between colleagues made it an excellent environment to learn. I have a deeper understanding towards the organization’s daily operations, and how to deal with the relationship with artists, and think about efficient promotion methods.”
– Weixi Li, CMU Arts Management (KST Intern Summer 2013)
