A Pledge for Life: Gospel Idol

Presented by The Center for Organ Recovery & Education

In celebration of National Minority Donor Awareness Week, The Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) brings people together with gospel music to share the important message of organ, tissue and cornea donation.

CORE’s Pittsburgh Multicultural Task Force is pleased to present A Pledge for Life: Gospel Idol.

Based on submissions received from gospel singers (solo/group/choir), Christian rap, mime, spoken word and liturgical dance, CORE’s judges will choose the top 10 contestants in advance, who will perform at the event. Prizes include 1st Place ($1,000), 2nd Place ($750), Third Prize ($500) and Viewers’ Choice ($250).

To submit an entry:

CORE welcomes interested contestants to submit a 90-second DVD or YouTube video showcasing their talent in the following categories: gospel singer (solo/group/choir), Christian rap, mime, spoken word and liturgical dance.
