On Sunday November 13th, 5pm-9pm, Stop the Violence-Pittsburgh will be conducting an Economic Empowerment Summit with National Presenters Dr. Boyce Watkins, the People’s Scholar, and real-estate guru Jay Morrison at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

Dr. Boyce Watkins, also known as The People’s Scholar, is a leading scholar and social commentator. His thought-provoking commentary has been featured on every major network, including Fox News, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, BET and Huffington Post. While he analyzes a vast array of topics, his primary focuses are economic empowerment, social justice, and education.

Jay Morrison, also known as Mr. Real Estate is a successful real estate investor, realtor, TV personality, entrepreneur, social activist and the CEO and founder of the Jay Morrison Brand and the Jay Morrison Academy, an online real estate school and mentor-ship program. A high school dropout, at risk youth and three time felon, Jay made a major life transformation for the better over a decade ago and now uses his life experiences and personal story of that transformation
