I Matter…A Portrait of a Black Mother’s Heart

KST Presents

Presented by Kelly Strayhorn Theater and Renee Gray

Black Mothers will come together to help one another heal from the more than 400 years of pain and oppression.
Through first-hand accounts from mothers who have lost loved ones, poetry and song by local artists Medina Jackson and Dinah Baker, and a panel discussion focused on healing in the aftermath of violence, we begin the healing process in a safe, community setting.

Seating is limited, attendees are encouraged to pre-register.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a covered dish for a community pot-luck following the event.
